We're hiring a Customer Service Self Pay Specialist II for the Single Billing Office in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is a Full-Time Days position located at Baptist Metro Square.
The Single Billing Office is seeking a Customer Service Self Pay Specialist II to support their medium size team.
This department handles high call volumes from physicians, attorneys, facilities, as well as patients.
The Customer Service Self Pay Specialist for this role will receive intake calls, in addition to processing payments and rebilling claims.
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Customer Service Self Pay Specialist II, Single Billing Office, Job Responsibilities:
Serves as the first point of contact for handling a high volume of inbound and outbound telephone calls to resolve patient/guarantor billing concerns and inquiries from patients, guarantors, and others such as insurance companies, attorney offices, or other healthcare providers for both hospital and professional billing settings.
Process patient payments, set up payment arrangements and provides customer/patient education when necessary.
Experience and be well versed in either HB, PB or Customer Service while working toward competency in all areas of the SBO.
Integrate customer service and self-pay collection activities across our Medical Center Facilities and Physician Networks, providing a single point of contact, a single patient billing statement and increased transparency to guarantors, thereby improving the patient collection process and patient experience.
