*Revit 3D Pipe Designer* *Overview:* We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Piping Designer proficient in Revit to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, FL.
As a 3D Piping Designer, you will play a critical role in creating detailed piping systems and layouts for various engineering projects.
Your expertise in Revit will be essential in producing accurate and efficient designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
*Responsibilities:* * *Piping System Design:* Utilize Revit software to design and model complex piping systems for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
* *Collaboration:* Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop piping layouts that meet technical and design specifications.
* *3D Modeling:* Create detailed 3D models of piping systems, including pipe routing, fittings, valves, and supports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
* *Clash Detection:* Conduct clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between piping systems and other building components, such as structural elements, equipment, and ductwork.
* *Coordination:* Coordinate piping designs with other disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and structural, to ensure integration and compatibility with overall building systems.
* *Documentation:* Generate comprehensive construction drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication spool drawings based on Revit models, including material lists, dimensions, and annotations.
* *Quality Assurance:* Perform thorough reviews of piping designs to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
* *Problem Solving:* Identify and address design challenges and technical issues related to piping layouts, and propose effective solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
* *Continuous Improvement:* Stay updated on the latest developments in Revit software and piping design technologies, and actively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
* *Project Support:* Provide technical support during the construction phase, respond to RFIs (Requests for Information), and assist with resolving design-related issues as needed.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Piping Designer, with expertise in 3D modeling and design using Revit software.
* Strong understanding of piping design principles, codes, and standards, such as ASME B31.
1, B31.
3, and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and other relevant software tools for piping design and coordination.
* Knowledge of building systems and construction processes, with the ability to coordinate piping designs with other disciplines.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in piping designs and documentation.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and project milestones.
