We are seeking a talented Database Administrator / Database Support Analyst to join our client's IT team.
In the Database Administrator position, you will optimize database systems, enhance user experience, and play a crucial role in the transition to a new relational database system in the future.
*Responsibilities:*
*Systems and User Support:*
* Provide comprehensive support for database-related tickets within the Solar Winds ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalating issues when necessary.
* Develop and update system documentation, encompassing workflow design, field formulas, and business processes enabled by the database.
* Enhance the user experience within systems by optimizing custom reports and dashboards based on user feedback and recommendations.
* Collaborate in the creation of end-user system resources to streamline usability.
* Aid Systems Admin in supporting the replication state QuickBase application.
* Assist in maintaining current information on the Company Hub (externally facing SharePoint Site) sourced from QuickBase integration.
* Manage data formatting, transformation, and entry into QuickBase and various systems while adhering to ethical standards regarding confidential data handling, including financial and healthcare data for specific companies.
*Database Report Ownership:*
* Monitor report subscriptions actively, promptly responding to record change notifications.
* Conduct quality assurance procedures such as deduplication of records and validation of data entries within reports.
* Identify opportunities to enhance data integrity and provide recommendations for implementation.
* Regularly review and update reports and fields to ensure accuracy and alignment with program changes and new initiatives.
* Develop, modify, and maintain an inventory of custom reports, providing support as needed.
*Integration Support:*
* Assist the Database and Application Analyst in annual program integration processes vital to supporting company programs.
* Collaborate on documenting integration processes, including QuickBase Pipelines, Zapier, Workato, and other integration tools, to maintain transparency and efficiency.
* Monitor and troubleshoot QuickBase Pipelines and other integration tools to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Conduct data validation tests for integrations, troubleshooting issues, and proposing improvements for issue resolution.
* Execute data extraction and loading processes while preserving data integrity.
