As a 2024 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors.
This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3, 2024 and conclude on August 9, 2024.
About The Team
The Securities Processing Solution is an integrated front-to-back solution that provides services to US broker-dealers and broker-dealers outside the US.
You will be part of the Securities Processing Development team.
The Development team is a globally disperse team located across the US, Canada, UK, and India.
The teams cover the design, development, and testing centered around 2 complex trading related platforms, one for Investment and Advising the other Clearance and Settlement.
The team will engage directly with Product Managers and/or Clients to correct, create, and enhance the platforms based on the company’s strategic direction, technological climate, market trends, client input, and industry and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Assurance Analyst intern, you will work directly with our Scrum Masters, software engineers, business analyst, and development managers to build an understanding of current software programming corrections and/or enhancements.
You will then take your new understanding to provide:
Support in Manual testing.
Creation of testing scripts.
Creation of automation scripts in Selenium
Documentation of Testing procedures.
What You Bring
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
Rising Senior (graduating December 2024 through May 2025)
Knowledge in software testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Functionize, or other testing related applications.
Any experience in writing and running basic SQL queries.
Any experience in Software tracking tools like Jira
Any experience in Software repositories like GitHub, SVC, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Tenacity and motivation with a willingness to be challenged and learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
