Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Engineering Job Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior in Jacksonville, FL to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients.
Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and client representatives.
Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and software.
Communicate with clients on systems application.
Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements used in the retirement solutions.
Ensure system objectives are met and that the outputs produced are in accordance with business requirements.
Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
Participate in software design meetings and will analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Communicate with internal Training, Relationship and Product teams on systems application.
Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: participating in end-to-end systems development life cycles, design, and developments of the applications that support the business requirements; utilizing UML sequence diagrams and class models; working in both windows and Linux environments; utilizing Web services including Restful and SOAP in development; supporting system and user acceptance testing and performing analysis on complex system issues; working with Relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server; working with client-side technologies including Angular JS, Java script, HTML, XML, and CSS for client-side UI and extensions; utilizing server-side technologies including Struts, JSP and Servlets; working with tools including Java and J2EE technologies, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, Junit, Log4j and Maven; and working on generating reports.
