This position reports directly to the Chief Creative Officer.
He or she will lead coordination of a high volume of events per year, of various size and scale, with an ability to anticipate needs, discern priorities, meet deadlines with little supervision and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
The success of an individual in this position is directly tied to client satisfaction and event profitability along with venue/partner satisfaction and retention.
The individual will work between two local offices in Jacksonville and Amelia Island.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* * Handles incoming calls from individuals, corporations and associations for meetings, conventions, parties, festivals, company events, etc.
including leads processed through Sales Team Manager.
* Develops long-term client relationships for continued business and personal portfolio within PRI.
* Oversees the execution of events for high profile clients or events that may be larger in scale and scope.
* Meets with a client to discuss goals and objectives then designs an event plan including room designs, production needs, staging, decorations, vendor and talent acquisition, etc.
* Prepares a job cost and client proposal after engaging all necessary teams, then pitches the concept to the client to obtain approval.
* Performs site inspection(s) with the client and any necessary members of the assigned crew as needed for scope of project.
* Serves as lead coordinator to all other internal teams necessary to creating, staging, executing and wrapping up the client’s event such as Media Services, Prop Design, Event Technology, etc.
* Supervises all necessary external personnel required to pull off an assigned event during planning, setup, execution, breakdown and wrap up.
* Assists with production and execution of scripts, run of show and related event timelines.
* Handles all issues that arise from clients, vendors, venues, sponsors, etc.
and ensures that everything promised to the client and venue is delivered.
* Manage event expenses in adherence to client budget including internal and external expenses and a final event profitability report.
*QUALIFICATIONS* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* *Education/Experience:* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years of industry experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related industry.

* *People:* Due to the highly collaborative nature of this work, strong interpersonal skills are required.
* *Language:* Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, journals, technical procedures, and regulations with an ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, clients, customers, and the general public using excellent communication skills.
* *Reasoning:* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* *Work Flow: *Superb attention to detail, organized work flow and ability to collaborate.
* *Certificates, Licensure and Registrations:* Must have documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States, reliable and insured transportation, as well as a valid driver’s license and driving record with three (3) points or less.
* *Interest:* General interest in design and industry trends and a knowledge of community.
*Additional Details:* Position of Event Producer/Planner is eligible for salary plus commission and company benefits.
