Purpose of the Position: The Finance Delivery Consultant works closely with project delivery, client services, and development to deliver the desired financial and invoicing solutions related to strategic, global, high visibility and/or complex clients.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate industry and product expertise, drive a client to decisions around requirements and work closely with technical solution team members to deliver an overall solution to meet the client business needs within the project timeline.
Responsibilities: Deliver high level presentations with ability to communicate complex information effectively and professionally to audiences ranging from executives to system end users Responsible for the finance product work stream as it relates to strategic or large-scale client implementations Perform user requirements analysis; facilitate business process design sessions, identify gaps, issues and reporting risk areas as part of a software implementation delivery team Serve as the industry and application subject matter expert and thought leader both throughout the implementation life cycle and with the Finance Delivery Team internally Responsible for Beeline application configuration as related to finance/billing components per requirements Coordinate and facilitate all testing of the defined client financial solution throughout the lifecycle of the project to confirm the solution being deployed meets approved technical requirements and client expectations Responsible for ensuring the financial solution is properly documented Responsible for ensuring the financial solution is effectively transitioned to Beeline Client Services Champions process improvement efforts and a continual process improvement culture Engaged and confident presence with client (internal and external) - one who can establish and sustain credibility and trust Actively contributes to the product and/or process training delivery and mentoring of team members Actively involved with Finance Delivery process improvement initiatives Review and improve general Beeline finance processes to support global expansion Responsible for creation and maintenance of team documentation and procedures in order to ensure it remains current Assist with reviewing and approving project financial solutions in order ensure solutions are adhering to best practice or defining a best practice where one does not exist Travels onsite to client as needed to drive and define business requirements and identify/mitigate client risks Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or analytical discipline highly desired 3-5 years of experience in a professional service setting with a focus on project management, business analysis, financial processes and/or financial systems maintenance Technical aptitude, complex problem solving and analytical skills Knowledge of VMS software and/or implementing software for external clients Knowledge and adherence to project methodology and department standards for finance implementations Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence internal and external teams Understanding of financial accounting, reporting and budget controls Experience working within a project team that include business and technical consultants Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to multitask on concurrent projects, and deliver work on time and under budget Must be a team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships Ability work with all levels of management within Beeline, client, and business partner organizations Desired Competencies: Ability and desire to drive change through high-energy, can-do attitude, comfortable working in a high-performance, entrepreneurial, open-door environment Must be an outstanding communicator and team player who demonstrates attention to detail, and who also understands how to ensure finance initiatives that support the long-term strategy of the business Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously Attention to detail / detail oriented.
