The primary purpose of the Campus Child Care Specialist role is to support the ministries of Christ’s Church by providing safe, comfortable and attentive care for children of all ages, while maintaining a trustworthy relationship with those children and their guardians.
While this role has primary responsibilities pertaining to the Mandarin Campus, it also serves a centralized function to assist Campus Manager, Coordinator, and Associates with aligning resources to ensure the consistency and quality of the experience from a mega, multi, and micro-site perspective.
Responsibilities & Tasks
People
Provides a warm and friendly environment for all persons utilizing our child care services
Receives directives and prioritization of child care projects from the Campus Manager and/or Campus Coordinator
Collaborate with other Child Care Specialists to ensure staffing ratios and best practices are consistently implemented
Process
Be timely and arrive prior to the start of your shift
Ensures all children are checked in and out using our ROCK management system
Follow all guidelines for child care within Christ Church established for the safety of caregivers and children
Maintain accountability for all children from the moment of check-in until they are checked out by their responsible party
Insure spaces are clear and safe of any hazards prior to the start of shift
Report any disciplinary issues to Campus Manager or Campus Coordinator immediately
Systems
Utilize the designated tools and applications in ROCK to perform all essential functions required
Utilize the When I Work application for scheduling shifts
