We are looking for coding coaches to inspire our kids! Do you love working with kids and love technology? And are excited at the prospect of learning new things? We offer tons of engaging and exciting tech-based programs for kids and teens ages 6 – 17.
We love helping them unleash their creativity as they create games, videos, build robots, 3D designs, and more, and have a blast while learning valuable life skills.
The kids learn and use technology like Scratch, Lego Education Spike Robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, Java, Python, HTML, Unity, and more! We offer after-school classes, vacation sessions, birthday parties, competitions, and summer camps!
*Main Job Responsibilities*
* Engage students through project-based learning
* Teach and lead children in their lessons and projects
* Come up with creative ideas that kids could implement in their projects
* Develop strong relationships with students enrolled in the programs
* Document student progress and respond to parent questions about child improvement
* Run Trail Classes
* Maintain a high quality of team performance
* Abide by documentation on processes and procedures
* Welcome visitors and families checking in/out of programs
* Maintain an inviting, comfortable, and clean space
* Cross train new coaches, as needed
*Required Skills and Experience:*
* Qualifications:
* High School Students or Undergrad Students
* Knowledgeable or interested in learning about coding, robotics or technology in one or more of the following fields: Scratch, Java, Python, Unity, HMTL, Robotics, First Lego League, Roblox/Minecraft
* Having a prior STEAM/STEM-based learning (Robotics, coding, technology, gaming, etc) is a plus.
* Experience working in an educational or camp setting is highly preferred (camp, tutoring, child care, or after school program)
* Excited about technology and very willing to jump into and learn new things
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills
